Ex ‘p’ motor is an economical solution for Large rating Flameproof motors (FLP motors) which can be used in Zone-1 of Hazardous Area. With this sucessful development, CG can offer motor upto 12 MW with Ex ‘p’ enclosure; both for zone 1 and zone 2. Pneumetic Pressurisation System with Automatic Purge Arrangement is provided in such motors.
CG is constantly striving to make the country self-reliant and in this regard it has indegeniously designed & developed its one of the largest Ex ‘p’ motor of rating 2950kW, 2Pole, 11kV with purging arrangement for Hindustan Urvarak Rasayan Limited (HURL). Motors supplied through Ebara Machinary, Japan and will be installed at Ammonia Urea Fertilizer Plant for Pump

Motor is equipped with fully Pneumetic Pressurisation System with Automatic Purge Arrangement. Motor has underwent statuatory testing of Type ‘p’ and consequently certified by Karandikar Laboratories Private Ltd. (KLPL), Mumbai.
